Valerie holds a post graduate Masters qualification in Continence and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and is a titled Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapist as awarded by the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Valerie specialises in the management of bladder and bowel dysfunction in women, as well as the treatment and management of pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, female sexual dysfunction, and antenatal and postnatal disorders. She has completed extra training in dry needling for both pelvic and musculoskeletal conditions and pessary fitting for the conservative management of pelvic organ prolapse.
Valerie is also a Lymphoedema Physiotherapist, accredited by the Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA). She specialises in the treatment and management of lymphoedema, oedema, lipoedema and scars. She has completed advanced lymphoedema training and is an accredited ALA and Restore Scar Therapy practitioner.
